Norris Quickest as Tsunoda Brings out Red Flags in FP2

The second practice session seemed like it would go just as smooth as the first, however, with 8 minutes to go Yuki Tsunoda clipped the inside barrier and ended up in the wall as he went out of the final corner. Luckily, the Japanese driver was all okay, however it was a mistake that hopefully won’t dampen Tsunoda’s spirits too much. On the other end, Lando Norris headed a McLaren 1-2 during the practice session that closely replicates qualifying conditions, with Verstappen managing to reach third place behind the pair. Lance Stroll also had a moment during the session, when he had a rear lockup and went off into the runoff area, but thankfully didn’t hit the wall. Bortoleto was not able to get out for the session, as his Kick Sauber was suffering from a fuel leak, and therefore could not go out and set a hot lap. In general McLaren still seem to have the upper hand, but we’ll see how FP3 and then qualifying shakes out.

Below are the full results of the second practice at Jeddah.
