Norris Tops the Timesheets in FP1 in Spain

The drivers have all gone out on the track at Barcelona for the first time this season for what was a calm first practice session, albeit Ryo Hirakawa, who running in the place of Esteban Ocon at Haas, making a trip through the gravel. This was the Haas reserve driver’s second time partaking in FP1 for the team. Victor Martins, an F2 driver, also made an appearance, as the Frenchman made his F1 weekend debut while replacing Alex Albon at Williams. But by the end of the session, it was Lando Norris who came out on top, ahead of Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. The second Ferrari driver was right behind, and Norris’ teammate Piastri was down in fifth. You can look at the rest of the results from FP1 below.
