Piastri Fastest in One and Only Practice Session in Miami

This was the first and the last free practice session in Miami for this race weekend, as the next time the cars come back on track will be for sprint qualifying. And, until the last four minutes, it was quite calm. The first conflict that was presented was in Norris’ car, when the Brit was forced to go back into the pits due to a torch that was still in the cockpit. The problem was quickly sorted out, though Norris did seem frustrated. The McLaren was looking to be quick yet again this weekend, as was shown by Oscar Piastri setting the fastest time by the end of the session. His teammate wasn’t able to finish his lap before Ollie Bearman spun out and crashed into the barriers with four minutes left to go. Leclerc and Verstappen both managed second and third respectively, while both Williams are in top form in fourth and fifth. It appears to be anyone’s pole position for the sprint race.

Below are the full results of the only practice session this weekend.
