Free Practice 2 was even more calm than the first, as all 20 drivers came out to get lots of laps in, even while the conditions were quite gusty. This time around it was Lando Norris who soared to the top of the timesheets by the end of the FP2, ahead of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, as both Ferrari cars are looking pretty quick so far this weekend. Oscar Piastri was behind in fourth, while Max Verstappen slotted in behind him, in P5. Antonelli finished in sixth place, ahead of Lance Stroll in seventh and his Mercedes teammate in eighth. Isack Hadjar went ninth fastest, and fellow Racing Bulls driver Liam Lawson rounded out the top ten.
