Sergio “Checo” Perez debuted in Formula One with Sauber in 2011, where he stayed for one year before going to McLaren for one tricky season. The Mexican showed what he was truly capable of when he moved to Force India/Racing Point in 2014, and impressed enough for Red Bull Racing to sign him as a driver in 2021. He enjoyed solid results with the team, before Red Bull decided to change gears for the next season. After having a one-year stint as reserve driver, Perez is back for 2026 with the brand new team Cadillac.
