Esteban Ocon went through a lot to get to where he is today, and so did his parents as they did everything they could to get the young Esteban out onto the tracks and into the race cars. Thankfully, the gamble paid off when Ocon stepped into Formula 3 in 2014, ultimately winning the title in his first season. The next year, the Frenchman also snatched the title in the GP3 championship before Mercedes, trying and failing to find him an available race seat in F1, placed him in a season of DTM. However, he only finished half the season before he got an offer to join the team Manor in 2016. The following two years showed Esteban driving for Force India before the team got changed to Aston Martin and he was left without a seat for 2019. Luckily he came back the next year with Renault, before the team re-branded to Alpine and Ocon was finally able to achieve his maiden Grand Prix win in 2021. After the 2024 season, Ocon made the switch to Haas for the following year.
