Yuki Tsunoda’s Formula 3 years may have been slow moving, but after an impressive Formula 2 debut in 2020, in which he finished third in the standings, AlphaTauri, Red Bull Racing’s junior F1 team, was quick to offer the Japanese driver a spot on the grid for 2021. Tsunoda did not disappoint the team as he helped the team secure sixth place in the Constructors’ Championship. Yuki has continued on with the team that has now been re-named to Racing Bulls, and will be hoping to stand on the podium in the years to come.
Last year’s Championship placing: 12th
