Nico Hulkenberg, or the ‘Hulk’, has been on a wild F1 journey since 2010; and he’s not going anywhere any time soon! Debuting with Williams, Hulkenberg managed to secure an impressive pole position in wet conditions in Brazil, but that wasn’t enough to ensure a seat for 2011, as he was left empty-handed for a year before jumping back in with Force India in 2012. He switched to Sauber for a year, then came back to Force India for 2014 and 2016. Next he decided to go to Renault for three years, before sadly dropping out of Formula One, except for some stand-in drives with Racing Point and Aston Martin. Luckily he entered the sport full time once more with Haas, where he was for 2023 and 2024, before, once again, switching teams and heading to Kick Sauber for 2025. And now, who knows what lies in store next for the German, and time will tell if he’s ever able to show his potential and stand on the podium.
Last year’s Championship placing: 11th
