Gabriel Bortoleto was an impressive rookie, winning both the Formula 3 Championship in 2023, but also beating Isack Hadjar to the Formula 2 Champion title. This means that he became the fourth driver to win both the FIA F3 and F2 Championships in consecutive years. (The others are Charles Leclerc, George Russell, and Oscar Piastri.) Bortoleto joined the Mclaren Driver Development Program in 2023, however, with both seats at Mclaren filled for 2025, The Brazilian driver will debut with Kick Sauber instead.
