The Kick Sauber driver Nico Hulkenberg didn’t finish in the points this Sunday, but he had finished in P13, a position that was taken away by the FIA after it was found that his Sick Sauber had excessive skid block wear.
In the report from the FIA, it was stated that the rearmost skid on the car came in under the minimum thickness required by the Technical Regulations. This was the same situation as Lewis Hamilton was in at the Chinese Grand Prix.
As a result, everyone from P14 down will now shift up a place, however no points awarded are affected.
