Lando Norris Leads Piastri and Verstappen in FP2

Lando Norris had to sit out FP1 while rookie and F2 driver Alex Dunne took the wheel, however the Brit is back and eager to prove himself after the crash in Canada. And Norris is showing that he is still quite quick, after he soared to the top of the timesheets in FP2, ahead of his Championship-leading teammate, Oscar Piastri. This session was calmer than the one before it, as the only drama that we saw were some slight corrections, as well as Leclerc taking a trip through the gravel, and Antonelli swerving to avoid a slow-moving Lewis Hamilton. Max Verstappen managed to put his Red Bull in third, behind Norris and Piastri, while Lance Stroll put in the fourth-fastest lap while still recovering from wrist surgery. Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc was fifth, with Russell behind in P6. Tsunoda had a better session this time around, ending in seventh place, while Bortoleto had another impressive practice to land in P8. Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton rounded out the top ten.
